so after about 4 weeks of waiting:rant: ... i have finally recieved my new PCM, however they did NOT remove my top speed limiter like i had requested. everything else seems to be a-ok though. :tup:

definately can feel the difference with the butt dyno, torque curve doesnt seem to be as great. i need to go to an actual dyno to find out just how much MY mods have helped out the cars performance.

anyhow i just figured id let you guys know.

when and or if i hit up the dyno i will be posting up my numbers!

Mail order tunes are never going to be the same as bringing a car in.

pcm4less did a pretty good job on my tune for my heads/cam. Seems to be running a little rich tho. Need to get someone local with hptuners to take a look at it.

I bought one because my mechanic said my stock PCM was fried. It wasn't, so I pretty much bought one for next to nothing since I've barely started modding the car...but running as a 4 cylinder, the car seemed decently strong on the trip from the mechanic to the stealership. Can't wait to drive it with all six cylinders firing :D

car is running GOOD! however i went to the track on the 10th and shattered my tranny mount on the 2-3 shift. thought i blew out third, but the mount was demolished. since track season is down for illinois im going to go through the driveline and check everything over. see if there is anything i need to fix. get some rust taken care of. rework some bodyparts while i have it apart and hopefully come spring, shell be back up and running. meaner than ever.

so PCMforless did a good job on the tune and what not, cept they didnt remove the top speed limiter nor did they send me a sticker as requested.

When I ordered, it said they'd only ship the stickers if they had some in stock. I requested some too, and didn't get any. Iunno about the speed limiter yet, though. Haven't had a chance to really drive it yet.
