Are you talking about the internal MS board modifications? sorry im talking about the board mod ive just found a couple of different answers wondering which is right and i cant seem to communicate with my ms and am not finding much help plenty for msII but not for 1 thanks again travisComment

thanks for the diagrams
in communication settings i tried to verify ecu communication and it failed im not positive i have the proper serial cable but i am pretty sure. I dont have ms fully wired in just power and ground to establish communication that should be enough right.

Yea, just power and ground should get it up enough to communicate...you'll just get junk readings on the gauges since the sensors aren't attached.
