O2 sim needed, confusion on compatability

Listed as working for 98+ camaros, but I have a 97. I know there were a lot of changes from 97 to 98, so will it work? They didn't change the wiring right?

I searched here and didn't find anyone talking about using this sim on 97 or earlier year f-bodies.

I see no reason that wouldn't work, ours is a 4-wire one also. Then again, I still have the cat and haven't needed to use those.

I'd just find someone with HP tuners and have it tuned out. I had a sim and after 4 months, it died and the SES light came back. I know others have had the same problem. The price difference really isn't that huge either if you have a buddy with hp tuners and just pay for the credits.

it will work on a 97 as well.

Where you located, maybe somebody local has hptuners otherwise.
