Alright, before I get my car dyno tuned after I do a turbo, rockers, cam, heads, gears, lsd, injectors, fuel pump, springs, stall converter blah blah blah, install would the standard HP tuners be fine or should I really go with pro? I'll learn about it when the time comes but first things first and I'm just trying to get everything together.

are you going to be getting a wideband for tuning?

The pro allows you to hook up the wideband directly to it. If you go standard then you have to hook the wideband up through the egr wire and disable your egr. Then insert a table to read the wideband.

I'm eliminating the egr anyways.. but besides the black box are those extra direct hookups the only extra features pro has?

when it comes to tuning v6's yea that is the main thing. When you tune v8s you can use the black box to RTT and such

I think to save myself some money for now I'll settle for the standard version and work with inserting a table for the wideband. 97rs I really appreciate the help you're giving me here and other threads.

you can get WB installed thru EGR with standard.
get WB , this is not an option.

Hey, I'm commin close to my budget limit, so got any favorite WB brands or modules I should look at?

I have the PLX wideband as well as quite a few other guys and we all like the units :)

So are any gauges better than another? Or is it purely preference and looks?
