Well I borrowed a friend of mine's scanner, and took the car out on a scanning run. I'm running 6psi on a powerdyne with a 6:1 FMU. At WOT past 4k RPM's I get knock, and it maxes out at 9 degrees....bad... So I was looking at my sensor info, and my MAP maxed out at 0 lbs of boost, when I'm clearly making 5-6 pounds, which makes sense though because its a N/A engine, so at WOT naturally aspirated manifold pressure would never go above 0 pounds. So this being said, my PCM has no idea im even under boost because the MAP maxes out, so do I need to get a new one that can sense boost? Also, the MAF maxes out around 4kRPM's also, so similar problem... I know I need a tune, but will I need a new MAP that can sense boost and a MAF that can handle more air flowing past it? Thoughts?

Re: Scanning Run
Don't quote me on this, and that said if i remember correctly i think you can retain factory MAP and MAF, you just have to change some values stored in your PCM. I was talking to my tuning guy not to long ago about possibly going with some sort of FI and i am pretty sure he said i would not have to replace them. Again there is a good chance that i am very wrong about this so don't take what i said as fact.
Heres a link to TurboV6Camaro's tuning page that covers this tuning issue, hope it helps. :)
Serious thanks to him for putting all that together!

Re: Scanning Run
yeah, im getting it professionaly tuned next week by a guy that is well known for tuning GTP's and turbo Grand Prix's so im sure he'll know what hes doing. i was just wondering if there was any new sensors id need to pick up. i figured i wouldnt though, since the MAP isnt really relied on by the PCM at WOT.
