MAF Interchangability

Are the 99+ MAF and 95-98 MAF interchangable?

I know the early TB would have to be modified, but

are the output voltages the same or would the PCM data tables need to be changed?

Is our 99+ MAF the same as used on the GP GT and GTP TB?

Assuming the heated wire pair has the same output voltage, then the PCM tables would only have to change if the diameter of the TB increased.

no the 95-98 mafs are different that the 99-02 mafs. They have a different housing where it sits in the tb and all. You would have to cut the post out of a 95-98 tb in order to fit a 99-02 maf in.

So the outputs are NOT the same to the PCM, correct? How easy to do with HP Tuners?

Just copy the table out of a 99+ file and paste it into your file. You might have to do some MAF tuning to get it perfect. Looks like the difference is only a few percent.
