is this in any gear or just 3 - 4...when does it do it? I'm sorry to say it, but I don't think a trans flush is gonna help this one... but it could .

I have not tried unplugging the MAF and driving. I will try this.

The problem occurs in 1st by shifting at around 6000 then the SES light begins flashing in 2nd around 6000. This is all during full throttle.

1-2 WOT shift is commanded at 5700 stock 2-3 at 5500. A flashing SES usually means the engine is missing.

well this would seem somewhat relevant as i feel like the car is no longer gaining speed but rather just revvin its heart out. But it is also not making any indications that it is missing(no noises/knocking/etc.)




also, i tried unplugging the MAF today but no change.

My next step is dropping the pan again and taking a look around. I had also remembered that when changing the filter, there was some connection to the mouth of the filter that was in the transmission that i was unable to get out. I stopped trying to get it out in fear that i would do more harm than good so i left it in and put the new filter in.

Make sure nothing is unplugged from the valve body in the pan as well.

K it threw the code again but nothing to do w/ the TPS(?). P0305- Misfire on 5th Cylinder

You'll need to find the cause of the miss fire and see how it does.

1st thing tomorrow: check plugs n wires. I may have gapped one a tad off a while back.

Could this still cause the car to act funny in the ways that it does?

K i checked all the plugs and wires. Plugs are fine. Wires are fine as far as i can see. I will turn the car on tonight in the dark and see if any wires are split/throwing any archs.

After having checked the plugs, i went for a spirited drive(the conditions in which it acts up). It shifted fine but it still threw a code when around 5500 in 2nd - P300: Multiple/Random Misfires.

So...coil pack?





On another note, my SSRA sucked in a few leaves that i removed. :banana:

If you don't find a bad wire or plug then it's most likely a coil pack.
