3.4 over riding speed governor

If someone would help me with Info on over riding the speed governor on a 93 3.4 without having to having the cars computer reprogrammed. I was thinking of disconnecting the tact and putting my own one in a pod tact or something!! Can that work?? Also dose anyone have a stage 1 hyperchip on a 3.4 v6 and if so did you get the 26 hp they stated you would.

but finding a hypertech module, especially one that has a reset VIN will be like finding a needle in a haystack. Besides i think they only made them for the 94 and 95 3.4

I think you can email ed wright from fastchips and ask him, but i'm pretty sure he can take the speed limiter off your pcm, he might be able to turn your fans on sooner too for the rad and small things like that but i'm pretty sure he can't do anything in regards to performance at least not for the 93 pcm. Us 93 guys are pretty much screwed when it comes to tuning. Your only last viable option in the jet chip, however i sent u a pm stating my thoughts on THAT piece of equipment. If you can find one used then give it a shot, don't pay full price for one of those, and make sure you get the correct year and tranny model.

Thank for the info on the chip I'm going to be looking for a Jet chip used J2019312. So people If you see one out there let me know it would help me out.

One more thing who has put a trans cooler on their car. What do you think of it?? It gets super hot in Texas. I going to be doing it soon, I have seen like 10 different models and are any great ones for a good price. Thank V6ers

if you've got a 93 auto tranny you should be looking for jet# 19312S , thats a stage 2 , you don't want to get stage 1 unless its the only mod for your car.

BTW, i've got that exact model jet chip, i'm sick of taking it in and out of my car so if you want a used JET chip for peanuts throw me an offer and it's yours. I paid 250 for it new but like i said, if you wanna give it a shot than throw me a reasonable offer and it's yours. You might like it more than i do
