i got a 2002 t5 with 3.73 gears headers nocat full exhaust ssra/slp intake. which would you guys recommend for a tune?

i say which ever one is closer to you. Texas speed is in texas (of course) and pcm4less is in PA

not trying to bash or anything, but i would send my pcm back to pcm for less if they paid me. I sent them my pcm for a small bolt on/nitrous tune(which i know was stupid, but had no local tuners at the time). Well i was having some serious problems after that and finally found someone local with hp tuners. Come to find out they added a couple of degrees timeing to the nitrous tune, big no-no. Thats just my opinion though, not trying to start a flame war here.

if you can get by without driving your car for a few days i would send it in. You wouldn't have to front the extra money for a core charge or do a case relearn.

PCMforless is good just make sure you tell them what you want, as in timing , your gears and tire hieght, fans temp, speed limiter, rev limiter(if you plan on shifting at higher rpms, adjust your idle you some to like 900 rpms, change the COT if you have gutted your CAT, take out some of the emission codes like EGR , EVAP and if you got rid of your post CAT O2 sensor, just some thoughts for you might as well do it the first time so you don't have to send it back everytime if you upgrade something. If you plan on running nitrous in the futrure make sure you tell them so they don't advance your timing. Also tell them to leave your pcm unlocked, so that if you get HPtuners or someone close by you does , you still can make changes on your own.

Thats why I said for them to have it unlocked, you know you can lock the pcms? to where another can't tune it.LOL

Having freedom to tune is such a great tool.

and not to mention a great great great diagnostic software.

I wouldnt recommend mail order tunes unless You know exactly what You want and every detail given...
Otherwise they will give You a sh!tty tune and wont run and be out of a car.

Bite the bullet and get HP tuners, You'll save money in the long run.
