I'm at the point that I've collected pretty much every part that I need for my E85 3400 build up, just waiting to have time to actually start working on it. The thing that I'm still undecided on though is how I'm going to tune it. I've been planing to use megasquirt 1 with spark control, but recently i've been reading about people using emulators and chip burners for the earlier 660's. I just wanted to see if anyone had an opinion to the pros and cons of on setup vs the other.
Basically the reason I'm thinking about using the '7730 is possible egr, fan, and speedo control. But would it have the data-logging and wideband compatibility of megasquirt? And would it be able to run close to the 10:1 AFR that I need for E85?
Thanks for anyone's input, I just want to get some ideas from those with experience.
