Ok so I am throwing p1655 EVAP purge solenoid control circuit - i searched and found this http://forum.camarov6.com/showthread...ighlight=p1655 which was helpful and all but for the lack of a multimeter and exact knowledge of where this solenoid is...i am kind of at a loss. So where exactly is this solenoid? Also a new one is just 20 bucks from gmpartsdirect so if its common that these fail no big deal....OR i could just leave it since it really doesn't affect driveability....

Also while checking fuses to see if it was fuse related I noticed i was missing a relay....the cover revealed that is was the "air pump" relay...could this be making me throw the 1655 code, i think its unrelated but who knows.......?

They are on the passenger side of the engine , there is a vacuum line coming off the TB going back to them. Then there is a vac. line coming from the canister, it is routed with the fuel lines and goes behind the back of the engine to the Evap sensors. Their are 2 senors on the passenger side. The one you can unhook and shake it to get the crap out of it. Mine had alot in it. Might want to take both off to check them out. They just slide off the rail the connects to the back of the Alt. pretty easy to get to. Unless it is the one in the rear, behind the drivers side wheel well(charchol canister). I would start by shaking the stuff out of them , then see if that works.
