  • Where to tune?

I was trying to research where the best place to get a tune from is, preferably around the dfw area. I just got bolt ons, headers, thermostat, free mods done to the motor.

    dfw area?

I just googled dyno tune and my location and found a couple places that tune. I think for like 100 bucks they tune the car and make dyno runs to get the best tune.

texas-speed.com mail order 3.8 tunes. Or get a board member from the area to do it. One member comes to mind in particular, Dan, usd2sing over on ftv6.com. He knows his stuff for tuning the 3.8 and is from that area

If you had a 97' pcm I would tune it for ya, really not to hard once you get use to it. Hptuners and a wideband are the best mods for any car. You will get the most out of your car and can do it yourself. By the time you pay for tunning and dyno runs , you would have enough to pay for Hptuners and a wideband. Plus you gain the knowledge and experience of tuning. There are enough writeups out there it wouldn't take long to learn it. Good luck.
