I was trying to research where the best place to get a tune from is, preferably around the dfw area. I just got bolt ons, headers, thermostat, free mods done to the motor.

Re: Where to tune?
texas-speed.com mail order 3.8 tunes. Or get a board member from the area to do it. One member comes to mind in particular, Dan, usd2sing over on ftv6.com. He knows his stuff for tuning the 3.8 and is from that area

Re: Where to tune?
If you had a 97' pcm I would tune it for ya, really not to hard once you get use to it. Hptuners and a wideband are the best mods for any car. You will get the most out of your car and can do it yourself. By the time you pay for tunning and dyno runs , you would have enough to pay for Hptuners and a wideband. Plus you gain the knowledge and experience of tuning. There are enough writeups out there it wouldn't take long to learn it. Good luck.08' L76 6.0L 4X4 Chevy EXT.Cab LTZ Vortec MAX with Snug top cover, Dynomax exhaust,Hptuners& K&N intake
96' Camaro M5 to A4 conversion, alot of mods . GT35R Turbo full suspension. Built engine
