dose any one know if an issue with the airbag system would prevent the obd1 from throwing any codes. I noticed that the other day while trying out a scan tool in my 94 bird it wont even show the 12 code for diagnostic activated. this light has been on since i bought the car and never had the $500 for the bad part and just thought this was weird.
