Did you reset your DTC's once you replaced it and then it came back on?

        Re: 02 sensor

        I had a situation where

        i went into advance

        got my codes ran.

        it pulled a tps sensor.

        i replaced it.

        the next day

        it pulled a
        MAF sensor failure

        replaced

        the NEXT day

i went back and it pulled an 02 sensor.

turns out I RESEt the codes. and unplugged the battery and held the breaks in for 10 seconds..

        then POOF

        no more codes.
        =]

sometimes the tps and maf sensors can SET off o2 codes.

because mafs control the air to gas ratio and the throttle positioning sensor tells the engine how much VROOM it can do.

since a bad maf sensor composes MOST of your engines info as far as fuel and air.

sometimes the INPROPER mixture can be read by the o2 sensor and THERFOR.
        the o2

sensor is like WTF. and says HELLO THE WRONG MIXTURE IS PASSING through me.

get it worked out up there.

so then while its pitchin a fit your freakin because you think its bad.

        OH and btw

a bad maf sensor CAN be bad and NOT pull a code.

        (did it on mine)

so i would have that checked.

oh yeah and clean the maf sensor off with MAF sensor cleaner

or just reguler electrical terminal cleaner.

        THEN reset the codes.

        and tell me what happends

Just have autozone clear the codes for you, DTC is just another term for trouble codes. Then see if it stays off before throwing anymore money at it. The maf has it own trouble code if it fails and it is not a O2 sensor PO420 code.

                  Re: 02 sensor

Just buy a small scanner they sell on ebay for like $30 or habor freight, good investment , I kept one in my car for years. Since I would be driving a some code I forgot to delete with HPtuners would pop up and I would scan it and then after 3 times it would delete it for me while driving.

You might be running too rich or have oil blow by causing your O2 to go out. But just keep a eye on it or see if someone has a scanner that can read the output on it to see if it is in normal range while at idle and driving and WOT.

how can i run to rich? i change my plugs not to long ago i have msd wires and coils. so ur saying i havw a blow gasket? well last yr when my mech i go to scanned it and said it running too low so i vhanged the sensor and ran low but went away i think cuz then i had a vapor leak so i fixed that then this code came back so i changed it again but i havent scanned it yet so im lost :(

ok well i went to my mech today and he said i have too much air in my engine idk how thats possible that the lt trim or something is to high and sl trim is normal and also my headers o2 r fine the r around 800 - 900 and the back one is at 189 and stays there for awhile he said maybe my MAF is acting up or MAP is not working didnt know wat a MAP was but idk im driving it around to see if pops up again which im pretty sure it is so any clues or ideas it might me be?
