    Re: tuning for a stall

You need to learn how to drive it very smoothly. If your light on the throttle you should be fine.

Yea, it's going to take some getting used to for sure...didnt help that I was driving home in the rain on the first time I had it out...I know stalls dont give you any power...but it feels a hell of a lot more powerful then before.... Im starting to get used to it...I need to change the lock up for 4th gear somehow... locks up much later then before...

Ok...question..I swear I remember there was a table that you could tell the pcm to lock in the verter at certain rpms or something...I want the converter to lock up earlier in 4th how do I accomplish this? Its not through the Part throttle shift tables is it? That is just when the car shifts each gear...

Also, under the Auto TCC heading there is apply/release speeds...What can I do with this table?

The apply /release speed table is what you change to make the converter lock up sooner. Lower the MPH setting for 4th gear.

ok...I'll give that a try...should I be modifying that apply release table? Im not quite understanding the numbers inside the chart I get the gears on the side...the top numbers are the tps...the speed cant be in seconds? my 2nd apply is 170 across the board...

It's in KPH/MPH depending on your settings. It's at 170 in second gear because you can't reach 170 in second gear and therefor the converter will not lock in second.

You do need to have the release speed lower then the lock up speed.
