HELP - I purchased a Hypertech Tuner off Ebay last Chrictmas and I was going to have my mechanic run the program for me. The previous owner did not reset it before he sold it to me, so at this point it is useless. Is there any way of resetting this without the original car? PLEASE HELP!
No. The previous owner needs to remove the program from his car in order for the programmer to work on yours. Hypertech will do nothing for you. Your screwed!
Need to mail it back yo the owner or get your money back then buy HPtuners.

Yeah.. get HP tuners. I sold my hypertech to someone after I learned a little about these cars. I felt bad selling it to someone but eh. It's a part of the learning cycle I suppose.
