Alright, I posted this up on another forum or two but am having no luck with much for replys so I am reposting here...but here is the link to the HPTuners forum with the attached scan and tune http://www.hptuners.com/forum/showthread.php?t=24005
Ok, So I got HPT recently and went out and logged my first scan and what not yesterday. Now for questions. By the way the car is a '97 Firebird A4. Mods in fquick linky...http://www.fquick.com/97wyobird
I think I am doing pretty well as far as KR...a max of 5* in one cell and some 1's and 2's in some others. So I might start in on that and spark to begin with, but I am looking at my histogram for timing and my car is pulling like 40* of timing in a bunch of cells....and seems to be pulling a **** ton of timing from everything else . What gives?
My Ltft's are also all over the board, way rich down low, lean up top...so I have some work to do. I have seen talk about VE tuning these cars from a few members and was wondering if they have had any luck with that or seen any results? Because until I get my Wideband I can't really do much about that unless VE tuning has been turning out some results since most people claim that it does nothing on these cars...
Is there any way in the scanner to find things such as maximums for injector duty and stuff or do I need to export to excel?
What all do you guys recommend I be logging and setting up for a good tune? I just threw some random stuff into my Config...
Also if anybody wants the scan emailed to them or anything I will do that for sure.
Thanks!!!
