Is the ECU on a 98 not tunable with the hypertech or at all?
I've looked on their website and the only thing they list for a 1998 v6 is a 160 thermostat.
Does the 1999+ or the 1997 work?

unless you've already bought the hypertech, do yourself a favor and save up for HPtuners.

you'll find it's been said many many times on this site: hppIII < HPtuners.

to put it simply, you'd be better off tuning your ride with a nintendo ds than a hypertech lol.

Like baller said, save your pennies and get hptuners or a dynotune if you are looking to tune the PCM.

And we were honestly really trying to help you. But if you insist on using a sub par over priced piece of plastic, by all means go ahead. A jet chip will net you about the same gains if you still want to go that route.
