  • Shift Kit tuning

Ok so I have a 97 Firebird with the 4L60E and I have a Transgo HD2 Kit in there. Also still rocking the stock converter. I was just wondering what I should change in my transmission tables to get the most out of it.

I have read that going to .2 across the board on the desired shift time is good. Thoughts?

    I already disabled torque management (I think) Transmission-Torque Management-Master Enabled-Disable...Right?

What else, I think I want to leave my shift points stock right now, but as far as TCC, Force Motor Current, Shift Speeds, Any thoughts?

    Thanks in Advance!

.200 on the norm. and perf. table , TM, don't mess with line pressure leave it alone, you can adjust your RPM in all tables if you want mine is at 5900 rpms because sometimes it will spike to 6000 rpms and cutoff is 6200 rpms. I know 97RS4LIFE helped me with mine. It will just hook out of 1st, 2nd gear chip tires, 3rd gear chirp tires, its a head snapper. since you have a 97' I can send you my file if you want to look at it. Just remember if you use anything just copy and paste the stuff over to yours, don't try to use my file on your pcm.

Yeah if you don't mind, email is wyod42@hotmail.com if you'd send it on over. I will take a look at it.

I take it you left the hot tables stock?

Also did I take the right steps in disabling Torque Management? I never found a how-to so I took a shot at it and think I got it...I listed the steps I took in the first post.

      Thanks!
