No , 98' TB is cable controlled and 99' is electric TB.

its bc i found this one on ebay and it says it will fit a 99 but it also says it will fit a 98?

99 and 98 aren't interchangeable

I thought I explained it on the 2nd post, but I guess no doesn't mean no anymore. Even when I explain the differences between them which if he searchered before hand could of found his own answer. Or even look at engine tech or something. Haynes manaul would be a good investment OP and search before asking questions most the answers are here already.
