Ok so I am following RussK's maf tuning guide, so far so good. The only thing I don't get is the lowest cells that I don't hit while filling the histogram at part throttle. How do I adjust these? I don't understand this part:
For the low end of the Maf table that you didn't enter, just enter the error % from the lowest airflow hz cell that you did enter.
Use the lowest cell that you do hit to adjust those the same as that cell.
I know I am supposed to use the lowest one I hit. But how exactly? Do I just enter the number of the lowest cell I hit after I paste special in the Maf Table? Or am I supposed to use the paste special somehow to adjust the number with the lowest cell from the histogram in the Scanner?
no after you use the paste special and have your lowest number...copy that and paste it into those lower cells that you havent hit...for the other cells that you don't hit at part throttle, you can use the interpolate button between the two closest numbers to that point you missed....
I haven't even messed with those parts of tunning in 9 years since I have owned HPtuners, never had a need to , only when I ran my powerdyne I justed 2 -3 cells in the lower part of the maf to make it idle better for the extra air at idle. Right now N/A it is just left stock and have no problems running 27-28 degrees of timing.

Ok, so just to make sure I have this right. The lowest cell I hit was 2250. After the paste special this cell is at .65. The 2125 cell reads .47, and I did not hit this one in my histogram.
its ok...took me forever to get maf calibration tuning...mine still isnt 100%...Im still working on getting it smooth...I think its cause my injectors arent dialed in 100%

I'm in the same boat as you man. I couldn't get a straight answer from anyone as to what my injectors were rated at. Even the guys that sold it to me from Intense said they're rated at about 42.5. I was hoping for something a little more accurate other than "about".
Ok. So heres another question. Is the symptom(s) of injectors not being dialed in having a hard time achieving 14.7 while Maf tuning? Or you Fuel Trims not locking at 0 while Maf tuning or what? Because as far as I can tell, I got 42.5 Green Tops in and set them at ~44 across the board and my car seems to like it just by sotp feeling....that and as far as I know, the small amount of Maf tuning I have accomplished is going well...

From what I've heard, you should really have your injectors correctly tuned or you're doomed from the start. However, some people have tuned with their injectors at different MAP points.
In my opinion, i'd rather have my injector table set solid then tune the MAF table. I've got a straight injector table with my 42.5 lucas injectors at about 42.25 across the board. And after tuning the MAF it's still adding fuel. I'm pretty sure my wideband sensor is f'd.
