I drilled a hole in my firewall. Driver side below brake booster. pretty low so its not visible. Then I ran my power cable off the AUX. line. Drill a hole in the firewall. Going through the PCM is a b**** its hard to get out and back in.

i didnt think it was too hard. yeah i will give you problems but i thought it was better then drilling holes

so i my best option it to run it through the pcm but its going to be a pain in the @$$

honestly it is. but it took me like 10 min to remove the pcm run wires and reattach it so you can do it.

so after I run the wire through i should put my pcm back together like in the picture shown ?

so would it be easier to just remove the housing of the pcm ? or should I take off the two bolts that say something about torque specification

there are two clips on the side of the pcm that just lets it slide out from the housing

so just move the two clips and find the rubber grommet and run it through , the put the pcm back ?

You can try without removing the PCM, I did not have to remove mine. But removing will make it alot easier.

what size or shape is the grommet ? about how big ?

its maybe 2-2 1/2 inches round
