So a day ago a kid from school took my antenna and now i have little to no radio reception. And i remebered down at this junk yard their was a power antenna. So i just went and got it for $24 and just installed it and i knew their wasnt going to be the wiring for it. What should i do to make it work ? Or whats the wires, i think orange green and purple which ones power, which ones ground and whats the other one? If you can help please THANKS!

I'm kind of assuming you're going from a fixed-mast to a power antenna? Right?
If so.. The wires coming off your power antenna are orange, green and purple? Orange should be your constant 12v. Green may be your switch.. IE hooked to your radio so the antenna goes up and down. Purple.. I haven't heard of purple. But there's a lot of diff colors out there.. Could it be black? What did you pull the power antenna from?? -
