The factory speakers in my '00 Camaro are trashed and were that way when I bought the car. Replacing them is not on my to-do-list as of yet.
When I'm driving the car with the radio turned off, I received a feedback, crackling noise from the rear passanger sail panel speaker. Shortly after purchasing the car I noticed that the plastic interior sail panel cover was loose and it appeared as if someone had previously been working behind there. Sure enough, I removed a big chunk of styrofoam that was wedged between the speaker and the interior sail panel cover.
Does anyone have an ideas what to look for or how to fix this problem?
Thanks, Joe
