Installed my Alipne speakers today, replaced my 10 year old Kappa speakers. Alipne does make some nice sounding speakers. I noticed more vocals and softer highs and just overall clearer sound. Paid about $100 shipped for the pair but def. worth the price. I think now my sound system is all updated and sounds amazing. Those 2 Alpine 10" type X subs in steath boxes running at 1 ohm are so freaking loud I'm just amazed. I have the Hifonics amp at 1/2 gain and the bass remote at zero and its clear ,clean bass. When I turn it up its just ear hurting and chest feeling loud, great for when I play my old school rap. Alpine makes some good sounding speakers , I wanted the PRO componet set but $350 is too much for my budget.

Speakers powered via aftermarket amp? which amp and how many watts? and where are your two type x's?Wait, Is that a V6 or V8?
