That hifonics brutus amp is pretty strong , 1700 RMS at 1 ohm I have the bass gain all the way down just to keep the bass from over powering the highs, you'll like this amp for subs. Great amp for a great price. It takes 2 4ga power wires with a 160 amp fuse to run it thats how much it pulls. my GT42 has 3 75 amp fuses, but has built in crossovers for the mids and highs which is nice.

yeaa the brutus i always wanted even the goliath!! lol...i know hifonics is really good..but i cant really choose with all thats out there...i have to choose between hifonics....jl....mmats...or 02's...but the rms range im looking for is 2000 rms++....all my amps have built in crossovers especially my jl 6 channel...you can really fine tune with that...but an seperate crossover is better because it can give you what a amp crossover cant..
