So I have a 99firebird with the monsoon system. The stock speakers were shot so I replaced them with 6.5" Pyle Driver Pro Mid-Bass Speakers. There are four wires in there and I only used two. They work but they sound like sh!t.I tried different combinations with the wires but they only produce sound one way. Is it because they are 8 ohm speakers instead of four? Should I get different speakers or am I just not doing something right?
Thanks
I have a hard time finding a mid bass/sub that will fit in there. I can find a lot of speakers that fit the specs for power requirements but the mounting depth is the big deal breaker! I had to use a spacer ring to fit the ones I have in now and they are only a mounting depth of 2.75". The convertible top is the big reason why I can'tget anything bigger in there...Anybody with a vert replace these???
