I have a flip out dvd/nav system from Pioneer... My question is, how do I get the nav to work? I know I need a "brain" but which one, and where could I get it? Someone should be able to help... My model number is in the title. I want whatever I need to get the navigation working. Thanks ahead!

Re: Pioneer avh-p6600dvd help
yea i can help you out...well from what i read that model line from pioneer DOES NOT come with nav built in...however it is optional but theres alot of things you have to add..first you would have to get the hideaway unit (aka brain) for the avh-p6600dvd....second thing you have to get is the avic-88dvd and that plugs into the avh-p6600dvd...and the other stuff you would have to get is the nav discs and the gps antenna...here is my proof of all this and the stuff you need:
brain:
http://cgi.ebay.com/Pioneer-AVH-P660...b#ht_500wt_947
avic-88dvd:
http://cgi.ebay.com/Pioneer-AVIC-88D...a#ht_550wt_930
proof:

soo of course doing all this doesnt make sense cuz it gets expensive of course...you shouldve just gotten the avic-N series which is still a flip up and nav built in and all you would need is a brain the antenna and the discs...i personally have the avic-n3 and its perfect!

Cool. That is just about the dumbest thing ever on pioneers part. Why would anyone want twoscreens?#1:1999 pewter metallic y87 rs A4 camaro.check out the pics on the link below<br />#2:Bright red 1979 Pontiac Trans Am. Brand new 400 cubic inch Pontiac Motor.
