stereo makes wining noise when using ipod

Hi folks, I have a aftermarket pioneer stereo setup (simple stereo w/ no amps) and one ipod/iphone connector (that hooks up on the back of the unit and have the ability to charge the ipod to)
every time that i use the ipod there's a kinda of wining or hissing noise in the back ground of any music and gets louder when the volume goes up (this noise is not to bad but but is there all the time) now if I'm using a cd or radio no noise is present.

Had same problem...bought a Kingston Noise Supressior
for ten dollars at Negwegg.com...works great

make sure your ipod cable isnt by any power wires

Yes the Ipod cable also have power to charge the ipod.
Do you think that's the problem?
I'm going to check newegg for the noise reducer cable
one thing I forgot to mention is that the noise dont follow the engine at all (if I rev the engine the noise still the same)

Ive had that happen when i was running through the aux jack, and using the usb to power it. If you are using just the aux jack, then just try to charge your ipod before you listen to it.

this cable connect on the bottom part of the ipod (wide connector) and charges at the same time as play (all in one)

sounds like you need the noise suppressor then
