You guys know any place that sells a Double DIN bezel for the Camaro?
I hate the single DIN DVD units on faceplate. They look like cramming stuff to me. I would recommend against the JVC double DINs and the flip outs. If you are looking for something cheap without double DIN go to walmart get a jensen flipout. It is low grade quality and it may burn up if you have subs it is powering, but cheap. If you want an expensive, well-performance one get it online like kenwood or equivalent.

Get bezels and stuff like that from crutchfield. If they don't have what you're looking for you can usually call them and they refer you to a place that would. Or try ebay.

Yeah. I don't do double DIN either. It looks silly and you're just waiting for someone to break in.

Bad construction. Just generally not as good of quality as some other choices.

DIN means some silly junk in German but in English it means German Institute for Standardization. It refers to the height of the deck itself.

I don't remember for single and double DIN decks the exact mm/in for each though.

It can also refer to thousands of different standardized numbers such as metric screw threads, electronic technologies, or typefaces for example.

Deutsches Institut für Normung e.V. (DIN; in English, the German Institute for Standardization) is the German national organization for standardization and is that country's ISO member body. DIN is a Registered German Association (e.V.) headquartered in Berlin. There are currently around thirty thousand DIN Standards, covering nearly every field of technology.

International standard ISO 7736 defines a standard size for car audio head units. The standard was originally established by the German standards body Deutsches Institut für Normung as DIN 75490, and is therefore commonly referred to as the "DIN car radio size". It was adopted as an international standard in 1984.

Head units generally come in either single DIN (180 x 50 mm panel) or double DIN (180 x 100 mm panel) size. The depth is not standardized. The US standard for a DIN radio is 2" x 7" and the Double DIN sized radio is a 4" x 7".

                              .
