OK, so I'm replacing my blown subs with new ones. I removed the 4 screws and was removing the old sub when two of these stupid really loose clips (used for nuts I guess) fell off and of course went down between the interior and exterior panels. I have a few questions about these.
1) Where do I get replacements and what size are they? and
2) Are they supposed to be really loose and not stay in place on the mounting holes which are oversized?
I'm trying to figure out how to hold the sub in place, keep this clip in place on the mount hole and get the screw started to keep the clip in place at the same time without poking my finger through the speaker! Unless the clips are supposed to be crimped into place on the mounting holes, I don't see how to do this.
