I really wasn't trying to dog on your car, but fun/show cars usually have some of the nicest installs. Six 12's in a CRX. Why? For show. Full fiberglass with the subs mounted creatively.

Where as SPL comp cars almost always have some UGLY installs. Interior paneling ripped out and the largest box imaginable. The box is always rectangular in shape. Never any complex curves or angles. They don't care if it looks good. Sometime carpet, sometimes no carpet.

Thats why I said yours is stuck in the middle.... looks like an SPL install, but it's obviously not. Its in desperate need of a maid service. But you knew that. That's why you said it's been cleaned up now. Lets see some recent pics! :tup:

there were 2 other guys that had big systems.. i dont think they have posted yet... Big Tymer and CAMAROWIDBASS i wanna say big tymer has or used to have 2 18''s i dont remember anything else though

is that ported box?

It is ported, they got another 9 decibles from porting it.

but where the port is located its pretty hard to interchange it for tuning frequencys.

& Yes, that is asking to go deaf. He daily drives it, but he doesnt push it hard that often

I had 1 12 inch L7 ported back when I had my drop top camaro. But I think 96firebird311 has the loudest on here so far.

T3 audio Eight.1 amp. (same internals as Cactus Sounds 7kw and Adassa Audio Conqueror) 5000 rms @ 14 volts, 8000 rms @ 18 volts

Heres my set. Although i was away for awhile and i just now hooked them back up so its not as pretty as it should be. also im pos. i wired something goofy because i get a low hum like the wires contacting something else but im not sure what. brain fart : / any help would be great.

Well I thought I had I pretty big setup until I saw these other guys systems, but three 10"s do it for me I guess, right now I've got an RF 801S 2400 watt bridged at 800 watts RMS at 2 ohm running two of the subs, and also RF 401S 1200 watt running bridged at 400 watts RMS at 2 ohm running the middle 10" sub, and the two amps are linked together (very cool I thought :tup: )As for the subs they are RF HX2 Punch at 1000 watt MAX and 500 watt RMS, and the box is of course a t-top box from subthump, which I highly recommend for those of you out there who are lazy and don't want to built a box, like me! :banana:
