hard wire???

well I have a 93 firebird and who ever owned it before me hard wired the stereo and didnt use a connector kit:slap: how do I wire in a head unit now?

Ive done it many times for friends when someon has done that, what you do is find the color codes online for the 93 bird and it will tell you which is for what speaker. The headunit you buy will also tell you which wire is for what, so you just match them up to the wiring diagram you find, I will look for you. But the colors will not match up now since you will be hard wiring it. Then you have to find the constant power wire and hook it to the yellow one on your headunit. You can use a test light for this, then switch teh key to on and find the wire that has power also.

thanks well I found a color chart for the wires. and the person before me found the power and made it read and the acc and made it yellow and I got it all hooked up thanks for the help!
