Re: Sub enclosures options
When I get home tonight, I will take a picture of the box I just got done building over the weekend. It's not carpeted (yet) but it goes on that "shelf" that sits over the back axle behind the back seat. It allows the trunk to be fully utilized, and should fit at least 2 12s, if not 2 15s. I'll have to measure it, I don't remember if there is enough surface area on the top of it for 15s.
It allows for up to 7.25" mounting depth subs without using rings, it is a sealed box design made from 3/4" MDF, seams are all glued and screwed. I plan on testing it tonight with one, and then 2 10" subs (real cheapies that I am carrying over from my old car). I also have a nice Kicker CVR10 in my Fiero that I'm going to "borrow" for testing.
I'll measure it again tonight also and calculate it's volume.

Yep. Those are 15"s
EDIT: If you really only want one 12" and want it to look good.... I'd build my own stealth box. Lose the spare tire to make up for the weight increase from the sub/box.
