How do these sound with the stock monsoon amp??

They are a direct replacement. The Monsoon system in the Firebird has dual 4 ohm "subs" in that location.

Installation would entail popping off the rear speaker grills, unscrewing the factory speaker and disconnecting the speaker harnesses, cutting off the harness, and either pushing the bare wire into the ED's push speaker terminals or soldering on some connecters to slide on. (Not sure exactly what style of connections they use) Funkster?

i think i'm just going to go with the factory replacements for now in an effort to ease the time (and money) spent on installation, plus i'd rather put the money towards decent replacement door speakers (which are also blown). any recommendations?

How much are factory replacements?!?!?! I don't know what the discount Funkster is giving us.... but I could only guess and say $110ish/pair. For me to pass that up and put replacement factory speakers back in there, I had better be getting them for under $50/pair in my hands.

Aaron, How much am I looking at to gert a stuffed stealth enclosure? Ive had several people tell me to call you guys up and you will hook me up but i need to know how much its gonna run me so I can have the money ready. Let me know?

I also want to go with the stealth enclosure for my camaro, so that I can still take my t-tops off. I was just wondering if you knew if a Stealth enclosure is better set up for SQ of SPL subwoofers. If it’s more for SQ (which is what I’m guessing due to placement) i was going to make a separate box for my upper trunk and have probably another 10" for SPL as well. Just let me know!

Police report came in last week. Called up other person Ins. company on Tuesday. Inspector came in and took pictures of the damage on Wednesday. I don't know what's the next step. I am just waiting now.... They are def. fun car to drive.... I dare you to test drive one ;) .....
