If you don't know anything about electronics or have never installed something like this before, you may be better to take it to a professional.
I usually dont suggest doing that because its fairly easy, but in your case, you need a friend with you that knows what hes doing for you to learn from.
You can easily mess things up hooking something up wrong and your out alot of $.*Matt
