So I just got a new sub, got an enclosure for it, and all that's left is for me to wire the sucker into the car. I was told when I bought my car that it was already wired for a new sub, but all the wires I could find were a huge tangle of different colored loose wires under one of the rear seats. Any help in putting the right cables in?

Re: Sub Wiring
Sounds like you need A LOT of help. No, you cannot power it off the Monsoon system..... without me being there in person to see your tangle of wires, there's no way for any of us to tell you what wire is what. I recommend taking it to a professional. Circuit City charges about $75 to install a subwoofer amplifier. And that's provided you do not need ANY additional wires. (Like I said, who knows what's in the bundle of wires)
And regardless of your decision on the actual labor, you're going to have a buy an amp.
If you really want to tackle this yourself, please for the safety of your car, read up and study for a bit first. You can start by reading our entry in the modifications encyclopedia. (top of this page)Last edited by 96firebird311; 09-30-2007, 01:55 PM.
