      Re: hidding wire

slit the carpet right where the wires mount to the amp, and run the wires under the carpet until the slit

just pull em thru the carpet 2 inches or so and connect them to the amp

if its still obvious, wrap the wires nicely with electrical tape so they arent as obvious, or get wire loom.

Figure out where you're going to mount your amp, and then slit the carpet abit further under where the amp will sit. Then bring the wires through the carpet, hook them to the amp, and pull them tight. This way they'll all be pulled right under the amp and seem to disappear, and the only visible part of it will be what ever amount is necessary to hook it up to the amp.

Except if your running anything bigger than a 12 ga. power wire or ground wire your amp wont sit right...

and pinching the RCA's, not a good idea.

            Re: hidding wire

Then you put spacers on the feet of the amps. I'm running a 6AWG power, and hid it right under my RF amp like that just fine. It depends on the amp make. If you don't like that, then build a small box like out of wood and carpet it the same color as your carpet. Run the wires under the original carpet as close to the amp as you can, and then cover it up with the wodden box. Or just do a custom amp enclosure that'll hide everything.
