Radio Problems..

Well, sometimes my RAP seems like it isnt functioning right.. I turn off the ignition, cd player turns off too.. stuff like that. Also sometimes when I start my car the cd player doesnt come on. It kinda has a mind of its own. I'm almost 100% posotive there's nothing wrong with the wiring but I heard it could be either a RAP module, or BCM problem (I don't remember which.) But would that just cause my RAP to be screwy or could it cause the cd player not to come on sometimes too? Also, is there a way I can test the RAP or BCM for the problem, if that is actually the problem?

Its an aftermarket CD player btw, it had aftermarket in the car when I got it but since then i've installed a different one. I'm absolutely sure the radio harness is fine, but it could be something in the stock wiring from there.

Basically it just turns on and off when it wants to.. its extremely annoying.

i don't have any idea... but still smokin didn't actually mean that it was nice.. i don't even think he read it... he posts that everywhere... sorry i can't help man :(

lol yeah, i know he didnt mean it was nice.. i was just lettin out a little frustration.

Nevermind the RAP and BCM.. It's a short in the ignition wire (in the factory harness). Now I just need to find a diagram of the factory radio wiring and fuse block..

Anyone have any ideas? I thought i had some but i checked and didn't find any.

ok, its all ok now. I found the diagram i was looking for...
Too bad the wiring on my fuse block looks all screwed up though.. But, it works just fine.
