I just ordered a custom box for the back hatch and 2 subs to go in the box.



Also bought 2 audiobahn subs to accompany it. with my 1000 watt amp.

Sales rep from where?????Bestbuy??? those are bottom line audiobahn subs and they do have paper cone. Hmmmm, all I can say is "put them on and see how they bump". Your box is sealed so it shouldn't be too bad. What's the volume specs on the box?

Well the guy from hi fi sound connections said that the subs should sound find in the box.

and specs on the box im not too sure :/

1600 watts by audiobahn's measurements = less than 300 watts to "normal" companies (well not exactly, but it is significantly less than advertised)... dont forget this or you'll be out 2 subs pretty quickly

i have pretty much the same custom box. Get some wood glue and go over the joints on the inside when u get it just to make sure its done well =)

I've got 2 1252 watt infinities with a 1600 Watt Boss Amp.

That **** hits hard, but more importantly it sounds good.

o yeah i have a 1 farad cap as well just for ****s and giggles.

still got to pick up some dynamat.....

Ive had to kenwood subs with a kenwood 1000 watt amp.

Set up for the same thing.
and they never blew.

But if i run the 1000 watts to the amp. thats only 500 each. Its set up for 300 each, Just keep them turned down and it shouldnt blow them right?

Order got screwed up. I dropped the subs since the negative feedback you guys gave.

and just ordered the sub box.

Im now looking for some good subs.

around the 140-190 range.
I need TWO 12's

so give me some ideas. or links
