  • RE Audio SE10 Vs. JL W3v3

    I'm on the fence between:

    The RE Audio SE10

    http://cgi.ebay.com/RE-AUDIO-SE10-10...QQcmdZViewItem

    and the new JL 10W3v3

    http://cgi.ebay.com/JL-AUDIO-10W3v3-...QQcmdZViewItem

I realize few have probably heard of the Resonant Engineering sub, but I have heard the RE Audio XXX in action and was extremely impressed... the SE10 is one level below the XXX, but I've never heard one in person...

I just got back from tweeter where I was going to listen to the W3v3, but of course they were having a closing down sale, and the only subs left were MTX.

Has anyone ever heard either of these subs?

Hey man i would go with the RE audio subwoofer. I have a RE SX15 and it pounds out everything i throw at it. They are made with excellent quality and can take probally double the rms daily without a problem. JL does make quality subs, but i think your se10 will be just as loud if not louder than the jl sub.

hey man, the sub sounds amaizing, hits really low, but also has great response, i still listen to alot of rock music, and this thing can keep up with some pretty quick bass hits during a rock song. I'm feeding my sub about 1200 watts and it laughs at it. I would recommend RE audio to anyone because they have subs for all types of listening, and the SE series, is supposed to be an amaizing all around sub, mine is mostly spl, but keeping down on the gain, it sounds great. Let me know what you get.
