    Re: New Subwoofer Setup =)

LOL you want arrogant u should have heard the Tweeter staff when they showed me that amp and I answered their question as to why I didn't want it (for $800 instead of 340). "We don't need to compete with the internet, stop wasting our time." Yea sure they don't, funny how I was the only person in the store at 6:30pm on a Friday night. *EDIT*: I do realize most retail stores will be more expensive. I would have paid $400 maybe a bit more for it just to have it right then and not worry about returning or replacement if it was bad. *

So as for these type of things: http://akamaipix.crutchfield.com/pro...11BASMS-f.jpeg

How does it work? Does the terminal bolt pop out of the rubber of the cable and this one goes in and screws into the terminal on the battery instead?

Got mine at Autozone, and this is how you run your wires...

Is that one of those boxes that holds the T-tops? If so, how well do they work? Secure? I'm thinking more for the security of my kids should we get into an accident or something.

yes its a t-top box from subthump, very secure and fits tight in the back, also holds the t-tops very well too, plus it sounds amazing too!

I like to keep my installs as clean as possible. good choice going with the 15" RF HX2 also, I have two RF HX2 2110 and one RF HX2 3110 (weighs almost 35 lbs. alone)

                see the difference...

Jesus, that's 1000w RMS right? I don't think I need anything quite that loud... yet... :stp:

But seriously this thing is more than enough for me right now. I can't really even stand to be that close to it at more than 1/3rd power. It sounds nicely with the 6x pioneer speakers.

I would def. clean up the wiring and maybe delete the rear seat. Do the rear seat deletes and put the amp under there to clean up the wiring. Or build a box for the speaker and put it in the hatch then you could put the amp back there to clean it up better.

How do the T-tops fit under this box? Do you have any pictures of how they fit in there?

And it's a little easier to hide your wires when you have matching end caps that fit over the ends to hide them...

Wow, thanks for the quick response. I have a subthump stealth box, and I have been on the subthump site many times, but i have never noticed these boxes. They look pretty impressive.

Yea I mean it's not the cleanest setup but from the driver/passenger perspective its not too bad, u don't see any wiring or anything like that unless ur looking for it behind your self. If i decide to hang on to the Camaro i may build a box for the trunk :naughty:
