How does the passanger stealth box work, my passanger side has no opening for a box?
Is there a 12" stealth box, if not wat would be a hard hitting 10" i could use?
Besides subthump who else sells stealth boxes?
1. if im not mistaken, i believe you have to make a hole for it to fit...
2. its been done, but with the amount of space that you get from a stealth box (not alot), you are better off going with a quality 10, its going to give you better sound
3. people make stealth boxes and they are for sale often on LS1tech, i bought one off a member on this board... i may have to alter it slightly in order to fit the sub of my choice, but the construction isnt bad. other than that; JL and MTX made the stealth enclosure and thunderform box, respectively

Ebay has them cheap. A lot cheaper than subthump. It's up to you, if you can spare the cash go with subthump, probably a little better made. If you are on a tight budget go with the ebay option, and use some liquid-nail or the like to seal the seams if they need it.
EDIT: If you want one to replace the spare tire, subthump is the only place selling them.

Reason: Additional info
The ones on Ebay are real cheap, the max depth is 4", it is hard to find a 10" with a 4" depth. Subthump boxes are 9" depth, and are made alot better. I'm happy with my Alpine Type R 10" in the subthump box.

Nice find, I always used Kicker Solo Barics for the longest time, but I heard a 10" Alpine Type R in Meatyshells car and it sounded really good, so thats what I went with going down form 2 12" Kicker Solo Barics. But usally it is Alpine or Elemental Designs for the stealth boxes people go with.

I was running the kickers off a PPI 2300am amp that was modified with 8 ga. power and ground wires. The output transitors were upgraded so I don't know how much it is putting out. The Alpine type R 10" DVC is rated I think at 600 rms max so I'm running a little over 600 rms to it, with the gain at 3/4. Still sounding good.
