alrighty so i recently bought a Sony XA120IP iPod Interface Adaptor brand new to go along with my Sony CDX-GT710 deck, which is compatible with eachother. Best Buy installed it perfectly and it works but the volume is extremely loud even on level 01, when you turn the volume up it still stays at that same loud volume even if its at level 34
please help! thanks guys

Are you talking about the volume on the ipod or the headunit? If headunit, does it do this always or just when using the ipod interface? Is the unit new, did it do this prior to the ipod interface install?
i cant change the volume on the ipod cause uk its locked with the sony xplod unit, the regular volume works for radio and cd but stays at the same loud level no matter what for the ipod. the unit and deck are both new

so i went back to best buy, and this guy ik who works there checked it out, and said the installer who originally put the interface in, put a faulty box in, so he replaced it and did all the labor no charge, thanks guys

Their stuff literally "explodes", I had one of their amps and that thing burned up under normal operating conditions, cracked it open afterward, found out it had low quality sodder points inside. Pulled to many amps internally and melted itself.
