  • Losing Monsoon Capabilities?

I bought my car in June of 07, and the lady said it had the Monsoon sound system.
I shrugged it off, knowing that the badge of "Monsoon" had to be on the stock H/U.
But I read a thread about how some 98's had been Monsoon, but not had the badging.

I took out my spare tire today, only to my suprise to see the amp there.

The problem is, I replaced my Stock H/U with a Sony one a while ago. When I wired it up, there were about 2 unused wires.
I figured these were for the Speed Sensor volume, and the theft deterant.

Question is, am I losing the Capablilities of the Monsoon system having an aftermarket Head Unit in there?

No. Replacing the headunit will not cause you to lose your Monsoon capabilities in any way shape or form. Your speakers work don't they? They're wired to the amp aren't they? :P

We need to know which color wires were not used when installing the new headunit.
