Firewall?

Just out of curiosity where did you guys run your power wire through your firewall? I ended up having to run it through the rubber boot behind/under the ecu.

I think that's where most peopl run there wire. It's just easy to get too and already there so no worrying about drilling holes and finding a rubber gromet to fit and so on.

Yeah I ran some 2ga i had left over... ended up not being long enough, fail.

Yup, grommet behind the ECU.

Cool cool. Does anyone have any personal exp. with the subthump ttop boxes? I'm not purchasing one from them, but instead of spending 270$ on something i can build an identical copy of for $100ish with mats :)

Subthump makes some good boxes, but I dont think they can hold up to SPL standards, lol they would probably fall apart.

Make your own, reinforce it.. beef it up, whatever.. save money and really isnt that complicated.

There is a website, I cant remember the URL but it will give you the dimensions of the box for the Cubic Ft you need, its like designing a box on the web before you build it, I used to use it quite often
