Just hunted around in the spare tire well and found what felt to be an amp. :D So I hunted around the net to find door codes that are actually correct and found this:
Cool. But that thread is already stickied on our forum and those exact speakers have been recommended/used for some time. In fact, an employee at ED is a member here and could have saved you a couple bucks on your purchase.
Wow, got them in today. Pretty stout little guys. :)
Anyway, got them installed. Still on stock monsoon amp for time being. Huge improvement over stock. Really, they fill in quite nicely. Highly recommend this cheap upgrade!
Circuit City sells 6 1/2" spacer rings. There pretty damn thick. (About an inch is my guess) So you'll have to trim them down to size. But I still think thats easier/more effective than jigsawing some out of wood.
