The amp should be located in the rear, right under the panels.

Take the two rear panels off and it should be visible, but I think it's on the passenger side.

Im not too familiar with the bose, but if its not back in the spare tire area or other side I THINK, the bose amp is built into the headunit. I THINK.

        But I could be wrong.

I as well..... But I think each speaker has it's own amp. Rip the sail panel speakers out and take a look for yourself.

The rear speakers are actually powered by the amp in the sub enclousure. You'll have to run wires from the head unit to the sail panels to get them full range.

...crap...i was afraid of that. wonder if i could catch the wires just before they hit the amp, and divert the raw signal back to the speaker locations...dunno where the wires are run thou...under the rear carpet??

the wires are run in a bundle on the drivers side of the car under the kick panel and carpet. There is actually a cut out in the circular hole for the speakers that you can run a wire though, and effectively run a wire under the plastic panel but not "behind" the speaker, then under the kick panel and to the head unit. It's really not a big deal and if you work it right, you won't even have to take off the sail panels.

thats the thing thou, i've never really worked with stuff as far as connections to the headunit...the interior panels are no problem, i enjoy the work, just dont have experience w/ HU connections...would it be worth it to have the Circuit City guys do the install when i get the speakers? i do know that if i do that, i'm gonna get rid of all the older wire...no need to have it layin round servin no purpose

It's really not that bad. I strongly urge you to go at it yourself.
