The company has since closed up. Made great products, but ran into too many supplier issues. I've still got one of those subs sitting in my linen closet. lol Maybe one day I'll make a box for it and use it for my HT.
When you start pushing enough pressure you may crack one, but you wont break it into a million pieces. I've seen perfectly good windshield spider up off of my buddies 4 15"s in an old *** mazda 323.
When I was 20 or so, I had a 83' Cavalier took the back seat out, I had 4 kicker 15's Comps in sealed boxes, 4 6x9 's , 4 6 1/2 's, 2 51/4", and 4 tweeters all infinity. I had 2 PPI 2300AM amps for the subs and 2 PPI 2400 amps for the highs. Besides the battery up front I had 4 Opitma red tops in the trunk all wiring hidden and looking good with plexiglasss over the amps/ batteries. I ran a Mass Enginering Altenator with with 2 rectofiers(basicly converts AC/DC) rated back in the day for 400 amp load going out also had a voltage adjustment box where I could turn the voltage to 13 volts to 18 volts. I banged out 155 to 157 db, at some bass competions, my front window didn't break but would flex about 3/4" to an 1". My molding was coming loose also. The back side doors since it was a 4 door would flex up to 1/2". The top of the car would flip quarters, it was a beast, it was also lowered with 13" chrome rims, about 400 sqft of dynomat I had to put station wagon springs in the rear because it was so low due to all the weight, I almost had to get a cd player where I could play it from outside the car because it would skip the cds, but I think I had the newest kenwood at the time that had where it would remember like 5 seconds back so it wouldn't skip. You could here it coming from about 2 miles away. It would make your heart skip a beat, I miss that damm car. I would either get first or second place back then( I'm talking 1993-1995) I worked at a stereo place for about a year and we got to have the Orion van for a couple of days at the shop, I think it had like 8 12's in it sounded pretty good but people always wanted to see and hear my setup. Also on the Orion van we had to keep it pluged in to a 12 volt outlet to keep it charged up. The funny thing is since the Mass Enginerring altenator was putting out AC amps before it hit the 2 rectorfiers, the guys always told me you can weld off that b!tch if you wanted too, since it puts out so much power A/C power. Sorry for taking up thread time, I was just thinking back .
